Diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease Within the Last 3 Years?
Help Advance Research Aimed at Delaying the Progression of Movement-Related Symptoms
Profound Research is enrolling a Parkinson’s Disease study that is evaluating whether an investigational drug may help delay the progression of movement-related symptoms.
To be eligible to participate, you must:
- Be 40-85 years; all genders
- Have a diagnosis of idiopathic Parkinson’s Disease for 3 months to 3 years
- Be on a stable dose of Levodopa for at least 2 months
- Have a BMI of 18-34
- Be able to swallow whole capsules
- Not have:

- Dyskinesia, motor fluctuations, freezing episodes or more than 2 falls per month

- Brain surgery for Parkinson’s Disease

- Huntington’s Disease

- Stroke
-
- Alzheimer’s Disease
-
- Lewy Body Dementia
-
- Multiple Sclerosis
-
- Significant neurologic disease
-
- Unstable/clinically significant cardiovascular disease within the last year

- Epilepsy/Seizures
Additional criteria apply.
Qualified participants will receive:
- Study-related care and study drug at no cost
- Financial compensation for reasonable time and travel expenses
Number of visits and duration of study:
- Placebo-Controlled Phase: minimum of 104 weeks
