Heart Failure? Obesity? Ejection Fraction Issues? 

Consider a research study for adults with stable Heart Failure and Obesity.

Cardiology & Vascular Associates, along with Profound Research, are enrolling a Heart Failure and Obesity study that is assessing an investigational medication to see if it can help lower the risk of death from heart-related disease, hospitalization or urgent care due to heart failure in people living with heart failure and obesity with or without type 2 diabetes. 

To be eligible to participate, you must: 

• Be at least 18 years of age with a BMI > 30 

• Be diagnosed with heart failure and in stable condition 

• Have a heart that pumps more than 40% of its strength

Additional criteria apply. 

Qualified participants will receive: 

• Study-related care and study medication at no cost 

• Financial compensation for time and travel expenses 

Number of visits and duration of study: 

• About 23 clinic visits for up to 3 years
