As a Principal Investigator for Profound Research, she currently leads studies on Advanced Solid Malignancies and Breast Cancer, expanding access to promising new therapies for patients across Michigan.
Dr. Nadeau’s path into research began during her hematology and oncology fellowship at the Ireland Cancer Center in Cleveland, where she worked in a Phase I clinic enrolling patients with solid tumors. The experience left a lasting mark. “It was inspiring because it allowed us to offer novel treatments to patients who didn’t have many other options,” she recalls. “The science was fascinating, but it was the opportunity to help people that really stayed with me.”
Her clinical background is as extensive as it is impactful. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Case Western Reserve University Medical School, Dr. Nadeau has built a career that balances rigorous scientific inquiry with a deeply human approach to patient care.
Pursuing Novel Therapies with Purpose
Dr. Nadeau’s primary research interests include breast cancer at all stages, as well as phase I and II studies of emerging therapeutics. Her work focuses on identifying treatments that improve outcomes while minimizing side effects. “Finding therapies with less toxicity is exciting,” she says. “It means better quality of life for patients and new learning opportunities for us as providers.”

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Nadeau finds joy and balance in the simple rhythms of family and nature. “In my free time, I enjoy farming, gardening, reading, hiking, and spending time with my husband and children doing absolutely anything,” she shares with a smile.
