Osteoarthritis of the Knee Research Study

Struggling with Arthritis of the Knee and Excessive Weight? 

Profound Research is enrolling an Osteoarthritis of the Knee study that is assessing an investigational medication to see if it reduces knee pain due to Osteoarthritis. 

To be eligible to participate, you must: 

• Be at least 18 years of age 

• Have a BMI of 27 or higher 

• Be diagnosed with Osteoarthritis of the Knee for at least 12 weeks and have knee pain for more than 15 days in the last 4 weeks 

• Have morning stiffness in the knee for less than 30 minutes, have crepitus (cracking) in the knee, OR be older than 50 years of age 

• Be willing to refrain from analgesics for 72 hours before each clinic visit (Tylenol, Panadol, and Calpol are allowed) 

Additional criteria apply. 

Qualified participants will receive: 

• Study-related care and study medication at no cost 

• Financial compensation for time and travel expenses
